SVC’s contribution to the built environment over eight decades
Since 1948, SVC Products has steadily established a reputation in the local market as a reliable, trustworthy Australian manufacturer of precast concrete products for civil and landscape construction. These products include stormwater and drainage systems, safe housing for electrical and communications cabling, robust paving and street furniture for public squares and transport hubs – essential components in the fabric of our cities.
Our priority has always been to deliver high quality products with dedicated, personalised service to our respected clientele.
Operating for over 77 years as a small, Australian-owned manufacturing business, we have seen first-hand how our team’s localised industry knowledge has helped to position us as a trusted industry supplier. The customers we serve naturally gravitate towards local experts whom they can rely on for timely, trustworthy advice and detailed product guidance.
Engaging with local and state government
It was with great pleasure that we recently welcomed the Hon. Colin Brooks, Minister for Industry and Advanced Manufacturing, and Tim Richardson, Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier and local MP for Mordialloc, to SVC headquarters, conducting a guided tour of our largest manufacturing facility.
We shared proudly about SVC’s contributions to heritage Victorian landmarks and essential road and rail infrastructure networks across our state, providing an insight into our rigorous, quality-certified manufacturing processes.
We also showcased the finished products that become critical components of civil infrastructure, speaking about the compliance requirements that these products must fulfil to be deemed safe and fit-for-purpose in public infrastructure applications.

Excellence in manufacturing, enabled by a local team
SVC’s successes are largely attributable to the strong, cohesive team we have established at SVC, some of whom are second- or third-generation SVC employees (following in their parents’ and grandparents’ footsteps). Our current cohort includes Bethany from our Production team, who is leading cultural change as SVC’s first female employee on the factory floor.
It was an honour to have our team’s achievements acknowledged by Minister Brooks and Mr Richardson, who are both highly supportive of the transformational infrastructure upgrades needed to improve Victoria’s transport networks.
By actively engaging with our local and state members, SVC aims to encourage government advocacy and support of local manufacturing businesses and critical infrastructure supply. This in turn will benefit the greater public, enabling a more efficient transport network and improved community spaces that are safe, useable and supportive of societal needs.
