Trade waste covers are made from circular cast iron covers that are encased in reinforced precast concrete. They are load-tested and compliant with Load Classes B and D as per AS 3996:2019, and are airtight when sealed.

Cast iron and reinforced concrete access covers are available to suit VicRoads pits in side entry and junction pit applications, demonstrating full compliance with DTP specifications.

Temporary Pit Covers are a non-permanent, easy-install solution to quickly cover up exposed pits and trenches on job sites, reducing the risk of injury to workers and pedestrians from slipping or falling.

Multi-part ductile iron access covers are available from SVC, used in conjunction with solid wall pits. The heavy-duty covers are typically supplied pre-encased and infilled in concrete.

Ductile iron (cast iron) access covers are used in a wide range of civil applications. They are load-tested and compliant with AS3996:2019 in Classes B, D and E, and are manufactured with a standard bolt-down facility for security.

Precast concrete covers are traditionally used to provide a strong, secure cover for junction and side entry stormwater pits. They are extremely durable and resistant to extreme weather conditions, and remain the main cover option for many municipalities.

GridLite Evo is an evolutionary range of lightweight polymeric access covers for roadworks, maintenance and construction. These durable lightweight covers weigh just 25kg each and are compliant with Load Class B as per AS3996:2019.

Utilising a lightweight polymeric insert housed within a robust concrete frame, Ready Replacement Covers offer a simple solution for councils to easily replace damaged drainage pit covers with a high-performing, durable product.

All SVC pit risers and pit bases deeper than 1000mm are conveniently pre-fitted with step irons, reducing installation time onsite.

Subsurface pits can be used in both S1 and S2 pit applications as specified by VicRoads. They provide reliable subsurface water drainage for important infrastructure projects.

Outside the standard range of solid wall pits, SVC can also offer custom-made, large-format cabling pits and covers suited for use in electrical, communications and data applications.
