Dual Chamber Pit
SVC’s dual-chamber pit provides a variable, one-size-fits-most solution for builders, plumbers and engineers to control stormwater outflow from increased density developments.

SVC’s dual-chamber pit provides a variable, one-size-fits-most solution for builders, plumbers and engineers to control stormwater outflow from increased density developments.

SVC’s patented MC2 multi-cell is a low maintenance, ‘set and forget’ solution that controls the flow and discharge of stormwater from a site, preventing flooding of existing drainage systems during heavy storms.

Surcharge pit grates are used to provide relief points in low-lying areas which are prone to flooding during heavy rain events. The elevated design enables high water inflow capacity.

Trash grates are available in various sizes for debris and silt filtration and are commonly used in storm water detention, retention and trade waste pits.

SVC manufactures galvanised steel pipe grilles to suit Melbourne Water drainage specifications. Certain standard sizes are available in stock, and larger custom sizes with access hatches can be supplied on a made-to-order basis.

Converted side entry grates (also known as crossover grates) are used to convert side entry pits into junction pits, while still allowing water to be channelled into the pit. This is often required when new driveways are built.

The innovative tiered grate system from SVC is a unique engineering solution designed for areas prone to kerb overflow and flooding. Capturing higher volumes of storm-water than standard grate systems, they are optimised for installation in low points.

Available in a variety of widths and in 1m length modules, SVC’s trench grates are made from robust galvanised steel, housed within a steel frame that can be easily concreted and installed over exposed trenches.

SVC’s range of heavy-duty stormwater grates for VicRoads is designed for kerbside road applications, providing robust, high performance in Class D and E load ratings.

Kerb grates consist of heavy-duty flat or V-shaped grates in either a forgebar or weaved grating pattern, available in various sizes and suitable for installation in roadside applications within the kerb and channel.

Pedestrian-safe grates (also known as heelguard or heelsafe) are used in areas that receive high pedestrian traffic. Their expanded mesh surface design means grate openings are much smaller, preventing items from falling through.

Flat grates by SVC are a high-value, low-cost solution for off-road and behind-kerb storm water drainage applications. Available in various sizes and load classes with a bike-safe forgebar design.
