SVC EcoBlox and RetainaBlox are individual components of a versatile interlocking concrete block system designed for the rapid construction of retaining walls and other outdoor structures. Available in fullsize or halfsize units, they can also be used individually as large-format ballast blocks for applications where heavy weights are required.
Originally developed as a supplementary product line to reduce concrete waste from manufacturing operations, EcoBlox are made using the excess concrete left over from in-house batching activities. Instead of being disposed as waste, leftover concrete from SVC’s manufacturing operations is used to fill EcoBlox moulds, creating a functional product that is useful for applications where aesthetics are unimportant.
RetainaBlox are the same shape as EcoBlox, and are produced on an as-needs basis when the client requires consistency and uniformity across multiple blocks for aesthetic purposes. RetainaBlox can be produced in a standard grey industrial concrete finish, or in a white or charcoal concrete base colour with a selection of stone aggregates available.
